Lois Ann Jones-Butler, age 62, passed away July 8, 2024, at her home in Oran, Missouri.

She was born April 21,1962, to the late Edward Williams Jones and Mary Shackleford Jones.

Lois worked for the Department of Corrections for 20 years before retiring. After her retirement from the D.O.C she worked as a bus driver for 5 years at Sikeston Public Schools. She was a loving grandma. Her favorite thing to do was spoil her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, working in her flower garden, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She also loved the beach and went every chance she got.

On July 1, 2000, she married George Butler, he preceded her in death in 2015.

She is survived her two sons, Scott Jeffries of Cincinnati, Ohio and Aaron (Houston) Raines of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two brothers, Billy (Karen) Jones and Ronnie (Jennifer) Jones both of Nevada, Missouri; five grandchildren, Madelynn Raines, Tanner Jeffries, Kylee Jeffries, Olivia Jeffries, and Mallory Jeffries; and two great-grandchildren Colton Jeffries and Bronson Jeffries.

A memorial service will be Saturday, August 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.
