Logan Garrett Thomas, age 18, of East Prairie, MO passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, in East Prairie.  He was born September 9, 2006, in Sikeston, MO.  He was the son of Jason Thomas and Vickie Sipp Thomas, who survive of East Prairie.  Logan was a member of the senior class of 2025 at East Prairie High School.  He loved listening to music, singing, and hanging out with friends and family. Logan enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and camping, mostly with his dad and brothers.  He had attended Full Gospel Church and was employed part-time at the Depot in East Prairie.  Logan was an animal lover, and he never met a stranger.  His smile could light up a room.

Logan is survived by his parents; six brothers, Chandler Thomas of Sikeston, MO, Lucas Moore of Sikeston, MO, Austin Moore of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jacob Sipp of Bertrand, MO, Kevin Sipp of Sikeston, MO, and Hayden Hall of East Prairie; four sisters, Kaitlyn Thomas of Sikeston, MO, Chloe Adams of East Prairie, Miley Hall of Sikeston, MO, and Shelby Counts of East Prairie; his grandparents, Billy Joe Thomas of East Prairie and Anita Lutes of East Prairie, and Ricky and Debbie Sipp of Bertrand, MO; and Tommy Upchurch of East Prairie, a special friend who was a big influence in Logan's life. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Daxton, Hansen, Brysen, Gracelyn, Strider, Reid, McKenzie (future niece on the way), and Keaton ("K.J."); aunts, uncles and cousins; and Brandi Adams, his biological mother.

Logan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Goldie Thomas.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, at 2 p.m. in the Shelby Chapel, with Bro. Eric McGruder, pastor of Full Gospel Church of East Prairie, officiating.

Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chandler Thomas, Lucas Moore, Kevin Sipp, Hayden Hall, Bow Martin, Holdynn Greenwalt, Shane Wright, and Nathaniel Achter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Bazan and Kyler Aters.
