Obituary

Linda Lee Organ, age 76, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at her home in East Prairie, MO.  She was born May 29, 1948, in East Prairie, to the late L.B. Ivie and Estlene Kelley Ivie.  She was a graduate of East Prairie High School Class of 1966. Linda was employed in factory work, retail sales, and later worked with children, which she loved.  She faithfully attended St. James General Baptist Church of East Prairie.  She loved her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids, and was known to all as "Ninnie".

On March 16, 1990, in East Prairie, she married Fred Organ, who survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Vance and Johnna Fisher of Sikeston; two sisters, Glennie (Roger) Scott of East Prairie and Darnell (Robert) Jackson of East Prairie; three grandchildren, Garrick (Sara) Fisher of Sikeston, Kaleb (Ashley) Fisher of North Carolina, and Wyatt (Toni) Fisher of Oran, MO; and seven great grandchildren, Willow, Kolton, Brendan, Bradie, Tucker, Elizabeth Jewell, and Ty.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Brennie Stacy.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. David Dowdy, pastor of St. James General Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Linda's son and grandsons, Vance Fisher, Garrick Fisher, Kaleb Fisher, and Wyatt Fisher.
