Linda Lovell Adams, age 75, a resident of Charleston, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in Pensacola, Florida. She was born April 3, 1948, in Illinois, to the late Harry D Lane and Lovell Dyer Lane.

Linda was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, and dancing.

She is survived by one son, Anthony Lane of Maryville, Florida; one daughter, Ashley Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida; three grandchildren, Tyler Meeks of Charleston, Missouri, Jacqueline Meeks of Jacksonville, Florida, Loranzo Wheetly of East Prairie, Missouri and Kaitlyn McDonald of Sikeston, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Ivana and Ivan; and one sister, Norma Freeman of Charleston, Missouri.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Billy Lane; two brothers, Albert Lane and Ronney Lane; and two sisters, Pat Syfrett and Judy Owens.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Missouri.

Graveside services will immediately follow at Dogwood Cemetery with Pastor David McLucus of Charleston officiating.
