Lillian Juanita Hubbard-Jenkins, age 95, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born on July 24, 1930, in Manson, Arkansas, to the late Thomas Bain Hubbard Sr. and Clydia Flannigan Hubbard. On June 18, 1948, she married the love of her life, Francis Richard Jenkins, in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death.

Lillian worked for many years at National Lock and was a faithful member of the Church of God. She had a servant's heart and was known for her generosity and kindness. One of her greatest passions was crocheting hats for children and military personnel. From 1965 until the week before her passing, she lovingly created thousands of hats that were distributed to children's hospitals and members of the military around the world. Her remarkable ministry of compassion was recognized in 2018 when KFVS 12 featured a special story about her life and the countless lives she touched.

Lillian also enjoyed bowling and cherished the Monday night family dinners that brought everyone together. She never hesitated to help someone in need and was known for opening both her heart and her home, always making sure everyone was welcomed and well fed. Above all, she loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her three sons, Johnny Richard Jenkins of Sikeston, Missouri, Guy Albert Jenkins Sr. and his wife, Linda, of Bertrand, Missouri, and Roger Dale Jenkins and his wife, Teresa, of Sikeston, Missouri; one brother, Eddie Hubbard of Newbern, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ellen Jenkins-King, five brothers, one sister, one grandson, Guy (Bo) Jenkins Jr., and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Jenkins.

A private graveside service will be at Blodgett Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin King, Trey Jenkins, Bradley Brooks, Johnny Jenkins, Roger Jenkins, and R.J. Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Rataj and Guy Jenkins.
