Laura E. Stone, age 70, passed away August 2, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born September 24, 1951 in Sikeston, Missouri, daughter of the late Aubry and Norma Sparks Williams.

She was owner of Stones Video for 20 years before retiring.  She enjoyed painting, sewing, flowers, cooking, being 'on the go' and traveling.

She was married to Glen Earnest Parks, Jr. who survives of the home in Sikeston.

She is also survived by one daughter, Frankie (Dennis) Bick of Mount Vernon, Illinois; three brothers, Dean Williams, Gene Williams, and David Williams all of Arkansas; and three Velma (Bobby) Gilmer of Arkansas, Elsie (Bill) King of Sikeston, and Kaye Clifton of Arkansas.

In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by one son, Carl Paul Bick; one brother, Tommy Williams; and one sister, Pat Sparks.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 6, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.  The Rev. Scott Sutton will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
