Larry Gene Duke, age 81, passed away on March 5, 2025 at his home in Morehouse, MO.

He was born November 17, 1943 in East Prairie, MO, son of the late Troy Duke and Fay Hopper-Duke.

On March 8, 1963, he married Louise Hedges-Duke, who preceded him in death on December 23, 2020.

Larry was a lifetime farmer in the East Prairie, MO area. He was a member of the New Beginnings Church in East Prairie, MO.

He is survived by one brother, Earl (Linda) Duke of St. Ann, IL; and four sisters, Barbara (Dudley) Hamilton of Morehouse, MO, Louise (Ray) Clark of Braggadocio, MO, Brenda (Tim) Crawford of Malvern, AR, and Sue Ziegenhorn-Williams of Morehouse, MO.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lora Duke; one brother, Harold Duke; and two sisters, Martha Jackson and Marie Day.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 8, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, MO,

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood, MO.
