Larry Dean Arnold, age 83, passed away July 16, 2025 at Delta South Nursing Care in Sikeston, MO.

He was born September 25, 1941 in Lancaster, OH, son of the late Lewis Arnold and Audrey Robinett-Arnold.

Larry was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, had worked for Malone & Hyde 21 years before retiring, and he opened and operated the Inside Lane Convenience Store. He loved his dogs, cooking, fishing, NASCAR, and westerns. He was a MOPAR enthusiast and a BBQ master.

In 1963 he was married to Karin Margaret James-Arnold, she preceded him in death February 15, 2022.

He is survived by one son, Brian Arnold of Sikeston, MO; one daughter, Lauren (Eric) Blackwelder of Benton, MO; one sister, Karen Arnold (Richard) Zakezewski of Maslin, OH; four grandchildren, Michael Arnold, Kathryn Romine, Jacob Blackwelder, and Nicholas Blackwelder; and one great-grandchild, June Arnold.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kurt Arnold; and one brother, Ivan Arnold.

There will be a visitation Friday, July 25, at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:30 p.m. at Shady Acres Church of Christ. Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
