Obituary

Ladora Frix, age 97, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at her home in East Prairie, Missouri.  She was born December 15, 1924, in Parma, Missouri, to the late Collie Greer and Margie Farris Greer.  Ladora was a homemaker and of Baptist belief.  In her spare time she loved to paint and color.

On May 17, 1941, in Charleston, Missouri, she married Wesley James Harris, who preceded her in death in 1972.  She later married Johnny C. Frix, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Stephen (Elaine) Harris of Belleview, Missouri, LaDonna Carter of East Prairie and Karen (Richard) Patrick of East Prairie; 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren; and a bonus daughter, Stella Mooring.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Joyce Davitz and Carolyn Dehner; one infant son; one granddaughter, Tonya Elaine Harris; her brothers, Ray Greer, Jimmy Greer, and one infant brother; and one sister, Laura Bell Inman.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022, beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Missouri, with Bro. Stanley Triplett officiating.

Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Wesley Harris, Garrett Harris, Adam Bollinger, Bobby Joseph Carter, William Dehner and Scott Davitz.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ty Harris, Christopher Garner, Archie "AJ" Flint, Jr., and Ronnie Inman.
