Kenneth Wayne Loflin, age 75, passed away April 28, 2025 at his home in Bertrand, MO.

He was born October 16, 1949 in East Prairie, MO, son of the late Jefferson Loflin and Ida Bell Hammontree-Loflin.

Kenneth loved fishing and spending time with his family.

In June of 1977 he was married to Opal Marie Evans-Loflin, she preceded him in death November 20, 2013.

He was also preceded by two brothers, Jefferson Loflin Jr. and Jimmy Loflin; and one sister, Barb Shands.

He is survived by four sons, Daniel Stephen Sickage of Highland, IL, Adam Jacob Loflin of Cape Girardeau, MO, Daniel Sickage Sr. of Highland, IL, and Robbie Sickage of Bellville, IL; one daughter, Mary LaVonda (Willie) Jackson of Cape Girardeau, MO; two brothers, Tom Loflin of Caruthersville, MO and James Loflin of East Prairie, MO; two sisters, Brenda Nichols of Bellville, IL and Mabel Holmes of KY; seven grandchildren, Destiny King, Darious Whitney, Jamie Jernigan, Austin Eckerd, Willie Jackson III, Athena Jackson, and Brian Sickage; and five great-grandchildren, Sylas Suggs, Vera Suggs, Marilyn Suggs, Myla King, and Keoni Whitney.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. Shelby Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Sunday, May 4, at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, MO.
