Kathleen Marie "Kathy" Patrick Bell, age 65, of Cape Girardeau, MO and formerly of East Prairie, MO, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.  She was born July 15, 1960, in Cairo, IL, to the late Robert H. Patrick and Dorthy Staggs Patrick.  Kathy was a homemaker but was most importantly known as a "Professional Mom" to her sons.  Her dedication to family was the most special part of her life, and she loved her grandchildren dearly.  She was of Baptist faith.

Kathy is survived by three sons, Jimmy Bell of Bonne Terre, MO, Shaun Bell of Benton, MO, and Joshua Bell of Cape Girardeau, MO; one brother, Richard Patrick of East Prairie; seven sisters, Glenda Faye Hedges of East Prairie, Pauline "Polly" Harris of Colt, AR, Joyce Kaye Boyer of Viburnum, MO, Ellen Patrick of Colt, AR, Sheila Cobb of Bernie, MO, Regina Dowdy of Dexter, MO, and Judy Keyes of Leesville, LA; as well as several grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond Patrick, Larry Patrick, Bob Patrick, Jessee Patrick, and Phillip "Bobo" Patrick; one sister, Phyllis Bennett; and one grandson.

A public visitation will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1:00 ~ 3:00 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
