Karen Marie Turner, age 70, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at her home in East Prairie, MO.  She was born September 29, 1954, in Wood River, IL, to the late Orville Bridges and Gladys Arnold Bridges and was a homemaker. Karen loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed making special memories with them.

Karen was previously married to Billy Ray Turner, who preceded her in death September 28, 1994.

Survivors include her life partner, Paul Freeland of the home; her children, Steven (Mattie) Turner, Billy Turner, Jr., Teresa (James) Knupp, Mark (Christina) Turner, Brandy (Bob) Davis, and David Turner,  all of East Prairie, MO; grandchildren, Tiffany (Justin), Steven II, Brittany (Rob), Blade (Brylee), Drey (Kimberly), Stanley, Brandon, Michael (Sammy), Matthew (Lacy), Leven, Luke, Damien (Melissa), Nicki (Dara), DayDay (Vivian), Kay-Ray (Shawn), David (Megan), Lilly, and Savannah;  great grandchildren, Darian, Audrina, Sylas, Ryatt, Tilly, Elena, Andrew, and Caroline, with one on the way; and two sisters, Dorothy and Judy.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brandy Davis, who passed away on May 29, 2019; and two sisters, Shirley and Barbara, and one brother, Bob.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, beginning at 12 noon until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with pastor Dawn Walters of the Church of God in East Prairie officiating.

Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Turner, Matthew Turner, Blade Turner, Damien Davis, David Turner, and Nicki Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Turner II, Leven Turner, DayDay Davis, Luke Turner, Stanley Knupp, and Brandon Knupp.
