Karen Sue Clay, age 56, passed away on September 4, 2022 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born June 10, 1966 in Sikeston, daughter of Carolyn Parker Schaffer and the late James C. Schaffer.

Karen was a drawing artist and worked as a waitress.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Schaffer; one son, Keifer Clay; one sister, Cherie Smith; and three grandchildren, Karalyn, Kashus, and Killion.

There are no services scheduled, Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
