Julia Sevin Schuerenberg, age 13, died on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at her home in Sikeston, MO.

She was born on July 7, 2011 in Cape Girardeau, MO, daughter of Jonathan Schuerenberg and the late Amelia Patterson.

Julia was a member of Mammoth Spring First Baptist Church and a student at Sikeston Public Schools. She was an artist – she won art awards for her drawings and she loved cats.

In addition to her father, she is survived by one sister, Sophia Schuerenberg; her grandmothers, Emma Sue Schuerenberg and Karen Horton; and a special friend, Scott Welton.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandfathers, David Patterson and James Due.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 24, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. Jennifer Bell Moxley will officiate.

Burial will follow at Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cullen Pollock, Christian Jacobs, Clint Reynolds, Scott Welton, Jesse Due, Herbert Schuerenberg, Seth Johnson, and James Alan Due.
