Joyce Ann Archie, age 69 of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023.  She was born March 7, 1954, in Mississippi County, Missouri, to the late Raleigh Archie and Mildred Davis Archie.  She was employed in home health care for a number of years.

She was married to Melvin Tripp, who survives of East Prairie.

Joyce is also survived by one daughter, Brandee Peterson (Kevin McWhirter) of East Prairie; three grandchildren, Gracie Riley, Mason Riley and Tyler Riley; and one sister, Lois Cole.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, John Archie, David Archie, Richard Archie and Billy Wayne Archie; and three sisters, Mary Lee Archie, Laverne Taylor and Jean Sikes.

A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 until time of memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.  Bro. Jon Archie will officiate.
