Joyce Adams, age 65, of Bertrand, MO, passed away October 12,2024, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.  She was born September 11, 1959, in Rockford, IL to the late Edsel Wally Edwards and Katherine Virginia Talley Edwards.  Joyce enjoyed crafts, camping, and fishing.

On January 30, 1982, in Gulfport, MS she married Larry Adams, who survives of the home.

She is also survived by her daughter, Amanda Franklin Grigsby of Sikeston, MO; her grandson, Michael Combest of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Steave Edwards of Oklahoma; and three stepchildren, Toby Adams of Kentucky, Monica Sanders of Kentucky, and Penny Deavers of North Carolina.  She also left this world having eight step grandchildren, Corey Sanders of New Madrid, MO, Rebecca Mahone of Kewanee, MO, Nicholas Sanders of Kentucky, Tyler Adams of Kentucky, and Ryan Adams, Dylan Adams, Jessie Cruze, and Michael Deavers, all of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Charles Adams; one brother, Eldon Edwards; one stepson, Jimmy Adams; and one step grandchild, Victoria Deavers.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
