Jorita Hargrove, age 59, of Sikeston, Missouri, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.  She was born May 7, 1962, to Jerry Grubbs who survives of East Prairie and the late JoAnn Wilson Grubbs, and was employed by PTI, Inc. of Sikeston.  Jorita loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and St. Louis Cardinals.

She was married to Jim Hargrove, who survives of the home.

She is also survived by two sons, Josh (Ashley) Adkisson of Hernando, Mississippi and Jason (Jennifer Morrow) Adkisson of Benton, Missouri; one brother, Jerry Grubbs, Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and one sister, Sherry Grubbs of East Prairie.  Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Mattie Adkisson, Chase Morrow, Jane Claire McCrory and Ben McCrory.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 4, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Interment will follow in Anniston Cemetery.
