Johna Noel Stokes, age 34, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born November 14, 1987, in Sikeston to the late John Stokes and Marie (Marshall) Stokes who survives of the home in Sikeston.  She was a 2008 graduate of the Cape Central High School and had attended the Mineral Area College.

Johna spent much of her time crocheting beautiful scarves and other creations and playing an active role in groups with other crafters. She also spent alot of her life in and out of the hospital defying odds at every turn due to complications of being born with Spina Bifida. She was a truly special woman who brought joy to many who were lucky enough to be part of her life.

Johna is survived by her mother, Marie Stokes of Sikeston, MO, siblings: Christina (Scott)Smith of Sikeston, Mo, Dustin (Jessica) Stokes of Wappapello, Mo, Sabrina Stokes of Sikeston, Mo and Rebecca (Dustin) Park of Poplar Bluff, Mo as well as her grandma, Rev. Glenys Duckworth of Sikeston, Mo and countless other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 14 ^th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where funeral services will be held Friday, July 15 ^th at 2:00 p.m. T.W and Sister Debbie Russell Graham will officiate.

Interment will follow immediately at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
