John J. Williford, age 52, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Aspire Senior Living Center in East Prairie, MO.

On July 29, 1972, in Sikeston, MO to the late Bobby J. and Erma L. Crisel Williford.

John had been an over-the-road truck driver for several years for Edwards Transportation until his health forced him into retirement.

John was an avid Nascar fan and an even larger Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the 1st General Baptist Church in East Prairie, MO.

Survivors include his brother, Mark (Lucy) Mars of Matthews, MO; three very special nephews dear to his heart: Dustin, Kaleb, and Tyler Williford; and three loving grandchildren: Sadie, Macklin, and Hadley Williford.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death a brother, Terry Williford.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Dogwood Cemetery.  Bro. Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church will officiate.  All family and friends are welcome to attend.
