Obituary

John Reuben "Bud" Caudle, born May 1, 1943, in Oran, Missouri to the late Jess and Rachel Mobley Caudle.

John married Barbara Hatfield on October 23,1962 and she survives of the home.

He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Pop City Hooe Baptist Church.

He was a graduate of the Ball Technical School in Nashville where he studied mechanics and became a heavy-duty equipment mechanic. He worked on pipelines all over the United States and worked on the Alaskan pipeline for 20 years until he retired. He was a member of the 513 Operating Engineers Union and the 574 Teamsters Union.

He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. Caudle and Jimmy Caudle; and one sister, Baby-Girl Caudle.

He is survived by  his wife Barbara Hatfield Caudle of Oran, Missouri; one son John Mitchell (Angela) Caudle of Morley, Missouri; one daughter Fara (Wesley) Jones of Perryville, Missouri; two grandsons John Cody (Paige) Caudle of Oran, Missouri and Jacob Jones of Perryville, Missouri; three granddaughters, Cheyenne (Landon) Parks of Sikeston, Missouri, Aubrianna Jones of Clayton, Missouri, and Lilly Jones of Clayton, Missouri and three great-grandchildren Chloe, Laney, and Truett.

The pallbearers will be Cody Caudle, Wesley Jones, Jacob Jones, Landon Parks, Larry Hatfield, and Jordon Mason.

Honorary pallbearers are Mitchell Caudle, Earl Johns, and Spencer Taylor.

Services will be Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Missouri. A public visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and the funeral will follow. Interment will be at the New Morley Cemetery.

The family wants to thank Clearview Nursing Center, Missouri Delta Medical Center E.R., and South Scott Ambulance District for taking such good care of their Papa.
