Joe Cullen Templeton was the youngest son of Vernon and Myrtle Templeton. Born on May 21, 1941, he died October 14, 2022, at the age of 81.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Templeton who died as a toddler, and Jerry Templeton who died at 28. He was also preceded by his only sister, Shirley Marie Templeton Boley who died March 24, 2022, at the age of 86. His only child, a son, Stanley, was killed in an automobile accident on I-55 a few years ago coming home from Cape Girardeau, MO.

Joe loved to watch sports on TV, was a good cook, and very good at woodworking.

He is survived by a brother-in-law - Bill and Charlotte Boley from Alabama, and a Sister-in-Law -- Brenda (Boley) and David Allen from Arkansas, his niece and longtime caretaker Anna (Boley) McDonough and numerous other nieces and nephews, all by marriage of his sister to Lloyd Boley.

Joe was loved and will be missed.
