Jo Ann Summerlott, age 69 of East Prairie, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Bertrand Nursing Center in Bertrand, MO.  She was born September 27, 1955, in East Prairie to the late Aubrey Wilson and Dora Hurt Wilson, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Matthews, MO. Jo Ann was employed by Mississippi County License Bureau in Charleston, MO, retiring as office manager following over thirty years of dedicated service.  She enjoyed crocheting and needlepointing in her spare time.

On May 19, 1978, in East Prairie she married Eddy Summerlott, who survives of the home.

Jo Ann is also survived by one son, Adam Summerlott and wife Stephanie of Cape Girardeau, MO; and two brothers, Joel Wilson (Deborah) of Sisters, OR and Todd Wilson (Michelle) of Lake City, FL.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Graveside services will follow Friday, February 14, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Dogwood Cemetery, with Larry Harwood, minister of Matthews Church of Christ officiating.

Pallbearers will be Tony Childers, Wes Francis, Billy Rose, Jay Childers, Andy Jackson, and Terry Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Swinney and Rickie Nall.
