Jimmy Joe Mast, age 80, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Baptist Health Springhill in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born August 14, 1942, in New Madrid, Missouri, to Agnes Smith Graham and was adopted and raised by Evelyn Smith Mast and Claude Mast.

Jimmy was a graduate of East Prairie High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from a lifelong career in aviation. He was a lover of cruises and spending time with family.

On November 9, 1963, in Golconda, IL he married Ruby Griggs who survives of the home.

Also surviving include two sons, Ed (Christine) Mast and Jimmy Joe Mast Jr. (Deborah) both of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren Amanda, Alexi, Courtney, and Joseph (Adrianna) .

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 20, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Jimmy Griggs will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery in Dogwood, Missouri under the direction of Ponder Funeral Home.
