Anniston, MO-Jimmie D. Hicks, age 64, of Anniston, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born December 28, 1954, in Dexter, Missouri son of the late Lena Bell- Hicks. On December 27, 1975, in Sikeston, Missouri, he married Waymon Elizabeth "Libby" Pigg who survives of the home in Anniston. He lived in Sikeston for over 50 years before moving to Anniston.

Jimmie retired from SECC in Charleston after 15 years of service.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Shawn (Amanda) Hicks of Sikeston, MO and Andy (Haylie) Hicks of East Prairie, MO; one brother, Lewis Hicks of Sikeston, MO; two sisters, Carma (Gary) Glastetter of Oran MO, and Mary (Randy) Strickland of Mississippi; one special brother and sisters-in-law, Phillip (Marie) Pigg of Sikeston, Mo and Tammy (David) Achter of Anniston, Mo; six grandchildren Wyatt, Madison, Alex, Aaron, Kimberly, and Payzlie

Visitation will be held Friday, October 29, from 12:00 until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow immediately at the Garden of Memories in Sikeston, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Andy Hicks, Wyatt Hicks, Shawn Hicks, Kenneth Masegian, Thomas Clark, and David Achter
