James 'Jim' Andy Morris, age 45 of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away
Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at his home in Sikeston.
He was born April 4, 1977, in Sikeston to the late George Alan Morris and
Sherrie Lea Baker Morris of Sikeston.

Jim started his career in broadcasting after graduating high school. He
worked as a disc jockey with K103 and worked for C106 for many years.
While with K103 Jim completed a large accomplishment by raising one
million dollars for St. Jude Research Hospital during their Radiothon. After
his time in broadcasting, he worked for several river boat companies as a
first mate.

Jim was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and rider. He loved hunting, fishing,
and the outdoors. He liked woodworking and constructing things for his
mother and family.

Survivors include his mother; one brother, Timothy A. (Melisa) Morris of
Sikeston; and one nephew, Aden Morris of Sikeston.
Jim was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, James A.
Baker, Mildred Baker, Luther Qualls, and Dorlis Qualls.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, February 3rd,  from 5pm - 7pm at Ponder Funeral Home. The memorial service will  follow at 7pm.
