Jerry Glen Townsend, age 87, passed away on October 14, 2021.

Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a General Sales Manager for Potlatch Corporation/Tetra Pak for 35 years before retiring. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Sikeston.

On March 24, 1984, he married Irma Rowland; she survives of the home in Sikeston.  In addition to his wife Irma, he is survived by three daughters: Cindy Leynse (Ken), Sara Hartnett (John) and Christy Burford (Barry); stepson Stephen Plunk (Stephanie); stepdaughter Shelly Plunk; and four grandchildren: Megan Holmes, Stephen Plunk, Jacob Plunk, and Morgan Hartnett.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Ann Edwards Townsend; his parents; three sisters: Ruth Marie Howard, Dixie Rose Townsend, Sharon Violett Townsend, and one brother William H Townsend.
