Jennifer Jane (Householder) Hooe, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, in Sikeston, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family and her best friend.

She was born on April 10, 1946, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Robert Louis Householder and Patsy Ruth Householder. Jennifer was united in marriage to Randall Hooe, who preceded her in death in 2009. She attended Kelly Highschool and retired from Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Jane saw the good in everyone and made it her mission to help others see it too. She had a special way of making everyone feel loved and important. She was the one her family and friends turned to first-on their best and worst days alike. She was the heart of her family, and her absence will be deeply felt until they are reunited again.

She had a true green thumb and loved spending time in her garden, nurturing her plants as she did the people she loved. Jane also enjoyed reading and cherished every moment spent with her family most of all.

She is survived by one daughter, Sarah Jane (David Allen Wyatt) Smith; four grandchildren, Abbi (Justin) Lindsey, Jenni Wrather, James Walker Hall, and Katherine Unger; two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Frazier Lindsey; two brothers, Daniel (Angela) Householder and Greg (Regina) Householder; two sisters-in-law, Joy Householder and Joyce Householder; her best friend, Janet Sue Neal and two step children, Randy Hooe and Cheryl Hooe. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Hooe; one daughter, Betsy Michelle Wrather; and three brothers, George Householder, Ed Householder, and Junior Householder.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
