Janice Murphy, age 82, of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born May 22, 1940, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Carl Deason and Arletta Jacob.

Survivors include three sons, Darrell (Claudia) Murphy of O'Fallon, MO, Russell (Sheri) Murphy of Clarksville, TN and Paul (Teresa) Murphy of Sikeston, MO; one sister; Marilyn Deason of Sikeston; Bob Fikuart of Sikeston; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by William Eugene Murphy.
