James Gary Kelley, age 77, passed away October 28, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was born on May 1, 1948, in Mount Clemens, MI, to the late Tru and Opal McMillian Kelley.

James was of the Baptist faith. He attended the Bible Institute at Liberty University in Virginia. He attended Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, MO.

James was a long time business owner. He owned and operated a business called Kem-Tech.

He is survived by one son, Gary (Lindsey) Kelley; one daughter, Theresa (John) Lunsford; One brother, Bob (Margaret) Kelley; one sister, Donna Holt; three grandchildren, Madison, Tru, and Matthew; and a very special friend Connie Cavnar.
