James Lee Hodges, age 74, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at his home in East Prairie, MO.

On January 10, 1951, in Wyatt, MO he was born to the late James Robert and Nona Slaughter Hodges.

On April 29, 1983, in rural Mississippi County, he married the love of his life Cindy at 34 Corner, who survives of the home.

James had been an over-the-road truck driver for Farm Products Co. until his retirement.

His most favorite things to do were fishing and spending time with his grandchildren he loves with all his heart.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by one son, James Robert (Mary Ann) Hodges of East Prairie, MO; two daughters: Mary Lu Hodges of Sikeston, Mo and Alicia Hodges of East Prairie, MO and two sisters: Ocie Bradley of Steele, MO and Linda Hodges; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Jeremy Hodges; two brothers Johnny and Calvin Hodges.

There are no services scheduled at this time. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
