Jackie Dale Carr Jr, age 51, passed away December 23, 2024, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was born June 28, 1973, in Kennett, MO son of the late Jackie Dale Carr Sr. and Rebecca Barbee.

Jackie Dale was a member of the Old Bethel Baptist Church. He loved his children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. He was the biggest Kansas City Chiefs fan there was. He enjoyed drawing and camping at Current River. He is going to be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

On June 26, 1995, he married Malissa Stroud in Benton, MO, she survives of the home. They have been together for 32 years total.

Including his wife he is survived by three daughters, Amber (Joshua) Northern of Sikeston, MO, Casey (Dustin) Williams of New Madrid, MO, and Dakota Carr of Sikeston, MO; a bonus mom Lease Carr of Blytheville, AR; two brothers, Phillip (Nikki) Carr of Sikeston, MO and Richard (Kelly) Stephens of Marion, AR; one sister, Brooke Carr of Blytheville, AR; a best friend Mark Mcwhirter of Benton, MO; his mother-in-law Marilyn Graham; ten grandchildren, Hunter, Payton, Kinleigh, Landry, Mckenzie, Raelynn, Delilah, Bentley, Eli, and Emma; and an abundance of friends, family, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jackie Dale was preceded in death by his grandparents; and one brother Randy Carr.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 30th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home.

Pastor Brent Horton will be officiating the services.
