Hurshall Owen Witty, age 75 of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the home of his daughter in East Prairie.  He was born December 27, 1945, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Owen Witty and Carmon Smotherman Witty, and served in the Vietnam War.  He was a self-employed produce grower and seller, and he especially enjoyed growing his watermelons each year.  In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking.  Hurshall was a member of First Baptist Church of East Prairie, and also had attended Full Gospel Church of East Prairie with his family.

He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Holly Pritchett-Jennings (Brian Jennings) of East Prairie and Melissa Davis of Bardwell, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Mason Pritchett, Kaylie Pritchett and Lawrsen Witty; as well as many nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart.

A memorial service is being planned at Full Gospel Church, with arrangements to be announced when information becomes available.
