Harry Jon Irwin, age 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Sikeston, Missouri on April 16, 2024.
He was born August 8, 1958, in Farmington, Missouri to the late David Walter Irwin and Melba Marie Kuhlmann.
He married his wife Cheryl Irwin on August 25, 1978, in Morehouse, Missouri.
Harry worked for Schaefer's Electrical Enclosures. He lived in Sikeston for twenty-four years. He was a member of the Cape First of Sikeston/Discover Life Church.
His wife Cheryl Irwin survives of the home. Other survivors include, one son, Ross Irwin of Sikeston, Missouri; one daughter, Amanda Irwin of Sikeston, Missouri; three brothers, David (Debbie) Irwin of Battlefield, Missouri, Mike (Cathy) Irwin of Norman, Oklahoma, and Dennis Irwin of Sikeston, Missouri; one sister, Barbara (Ken) Johnson of Pittsboro, North Carolina; two sister-in-laws Josie Irwin of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Diane Irwin of Sikeston, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Lindsey Terry and Cole and Aiden Irwin.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by two brothers, Charlie Irwin and Ed Irwin.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home
Funeral Services will be Friday, April 19, at 1 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Basham officiating.
Interment will be at Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dave Casey, David Richards, Tommy Bissel, Matthew Irwin, Brandon Tinnin, and Harley Reeves.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Camp Barnabas or Discover Life Church of Sikeston.
