Obituary

Harold Wayne Mueller, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, in Warrensburg, Missouri.

He was born on March 24, 1939, in Aullville, Missouri, to the late Charlie Abraham Mueller and Viola Lemler Mueller.

Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves for six years. He was a devoted Christian and a dedicated family man whose faith guided his life. He spent many hours visiting nursing home residents, sharing the gospel and offering comfort and encouragement to others.

Harold worked as a truck driver for Manley Transfer, where he was employed for 23 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to providing for his family.

He is survived by his two daughters, Debbie Ging and Donna Algiere ; stepdaughter Sarah Blackler; seven grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Mueller; two brothers, Robert Mueller and Charles Mueller Jr.; two sisters, Margaret Meyer and Linda Nevels; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Missouri.

Interment will follow at Dogwood Cemetery in Dogwood, Missouri.

Pallbearers are Michael Ging, Jamie Smithey, Donald Brown, Donna Algiere, and Nathan Schwarz.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
