Harold J. Brewer, age 79, passed away August 4, 2022 at his home in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born October 6, 1942 in Morehouse, Missouri, son of the late Faye Lingle Brewer and Earl Brewer.

Harold worked as a printer for the local newspaper until his retirement.  He enjoyed his cabin, hunting, fishing, working in his garden, and visiting with his friends and family.

He is survived by three children, Kenny (Daun) Brewer, Kim (Shawn) Glastetter, and Paul "Wally" Brewer; three siblings, Brenda Varvel, Wanda Moring, and Thelma (John) Slayton; three grandchildren, Brooke (Rhett) Obermann, Brandi Glastetter, and Braydon Brewer; one great-granddaughter, Riley Obermann; and his beloved dog, Spike who was always by his side.

A special thanks to his friends, Bill Beck and Jeff Householder, and his nephew, Greg Perry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Brewer and Glen Dale Brewer.

There are no services scheduled at this time, the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.  Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
