Glenda Jean Johnson, age 84, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her home in East Prairie, Missouri.  She was born March 31, 1938, in Mississippi County, Missouri, to the late Gordon Ray Blackwell and Georgia Chloe Owensby Blackwell.  She was a member of First Christian Church in East Prairie.  Glenda was a great mother to her children, and a homemaker who truly enjoyed cooking for her family.  She loved quilting and was a member of her church quilting club.

She was married to Harold Herbert Johnson, who survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Linda Johnson of Chicago, Illinois; two daughters and one son-in-law, Joan and Tony Sifuentez and Julie Johnson, both of Chicago; two sisters, Patricia Anne Wasson and Debbie Sue Adkisson, both of East Prairie; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Private services will be held with interment at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie.
