Gerald Willis, age 74 of St. Johns, Michigan, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 13th, 2026 with his family at his side.

Gerald was born May 22,1951 in Bell City, Missouri, to Floyd and Kathleen Willis. He worked as a farmer throughout his life. Gerald loved fishing, hunting, planting trees and taking care of his chickens.

Gerald is survived by his sisters, Karon Riley of St. Johns, Michigan, Geraldine Griggs of Jackson, Tennessee, and Anita Willis of East Prairie, Missouri; brother-in-law, Jim Russell of St. Johns, Michigan; his daughter, Mari Wilson of St. Johns, Michigan; three other children and various nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Kathleen Willis; his brothers, Lonnie Willis and Billy Willis; and his sisters, Kathy Willis, Mary Willis and Rosetta Willis.

Visitation will be held beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. Sonny Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
