Obituary

Freddie Eugene Farrow, age 92, passed away June 25, 2025 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.

He was born July 13, 1932 in Cape Girardeau, MO, son of the late Edward Farrow and Valodea Fern Ward-Farrow.

Freddie was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked for Southeast Missouri University for 10 years, then worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, IL for 30 years before retiring.

He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, being outdoors on his property, playing the fiddle, and sitting on his front porch drinking coffee.  He was a gun enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Pullum-Farrow of the home in Morehouse, Mo; one son, Bradley Farrow of Creve Coeur, MO; two daughters, Beverly (David) Niswonger and Robin (Paul) Miller both of East Peoria, IL; four grandchildren, Kathy (Eddie) Niswonger, Jennifer (Ken) Monks, Amanda (Shane) Waton, and Tyler Miller; his great-grandchildren, Zach, Katlyn, Natalie, Jordan, Cammie, Kendall, Crosby, Andrew, Althea, and Huxley; and his great-great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Kennedi, Dillon, Dotty, Callie, Jamari, and Dax.

In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by five brothers; three sisters; and one great granddaughter, Adeline.

There will be a graveside service held Thursday, July 3, at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO with full military honors.
