Eva Mai Lawson, age 65, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at her home in East Prairie, Missouri.  She was born January 4, 1957, in East Prairie, Missouri to the late Walter Vines and Eliza Nolen Vines and was an in-home healthcare provider.  Eva loved gardening, but her favorite pastime was spent enjoying and spoiling her two grandchildren.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Tiffany Lawson of East Prairie; three brothers, Perry (Peggy) Vines of Avon Park, Florida, Leon (Janet) Vines of East Prairie and Walter (Mary) Vines, Jr. of Wyatt, Missouri; one sister, Nancy Vines (Shannon) of Bertrand, Missouri; two grandchildren, Aiden Lawson and Keegan Lawson of East Prairie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd Vines, Ernie Vines and Gene Vines; and three sisters, Ethel Hale, Albirdie Ritch and Alvertis Donley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, beginning at 2:30 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. Eric McGruder officiating.

Interment will be private.
