Ellen Louise Baldwin went to meet Jesus on Sunday, March 20, 2022. She left this earth for a place of joy and rest known only to those who love the Lord.

Ellen was born April 22, 1952 in Sikeston, Missouri. She was the youngest daughter of Albert Edward and Mary Ruth Lancaster Champion, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two children, Erin Sue (Matt) Tanner of Sikeston and Joseph Patrick (Lindsay) Baldwin of Spring Hill, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Luke Tanner, Merritt Baldwin, and Abby Baldwin (who is due to arrive on the earth in April).

She is also survived by two sisters, Nina Ruth (Donald) Harris of Middleton, Tennessee and Janet Faye (Dewayne) Vines of Sikeston; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, at 10:00 a.m.  Pastor G.L. Keene will officiate.
