Elizabeth Jane Holland, age 82, passed away May 2, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born January 17, 1942 in Morehouse, MO, daughter of the late Earl and Lydia Imogene Ozee Sloan.

She was a business owner and operator of Blue Moon Bar in Morehouse, MO before retirement.

On December 18, 1987 in Sikeston, MO, she married William Lee Holland, he preceded her in death October 1, 2009.

She is survived by four sons, Darrel Jones of Bertrand, MO, Donnie Jones of Kennett, MO, William (Emily) Schaffer of Wright City, MO, and Anthony (Tonya St. Mary) Graham of Morley, MO; one daughter, Angie (Lorraine) Hutcheson of Texas; one brother, Earl Sloan Jr. of Sikeston, MO; one sister, Janice Holt of Heflin, AL; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her dog, Sissy.

In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by one son, Ronny Jones.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow in the Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery.
