Douglas Michael Myers, age 70, passed away July 5, 2022 at his home in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born August 14, 1951 in Chatsworth, Georgia, son of the late James and Clara Crumbly Myers.

Douglas served 7 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and had been a self-employed painter before retiring.

He was married to Judy Kelso Myers, she survives of the home.

Other survivors include one son, Adam Myers of Maryville, Tennessee; two daughters, Kelly Helmes and Ashley Helmes both of Sikeston, Missouri; one brother, Rex Jones of Dalton, Georgia; two sisters, Myra Myers of Edisto Island, South Carolina and Connie Boring of Maryville, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Holli, Brannon, and Katelyn.

In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by two brothers Jimmy Myers and Gregg Myers.

No services are scheduled, Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
