Doris Ann Heavener, age 78, died October 22, 2023 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

Born April 21, 1945 in Tennessee to the late L.V. Hopper and Lois Flatt-Hopper.

She had been a cook for B.J.'s Travel Center before retiring.

Survivors include: two daughters, Rhonda (Phillip) Hardin and Brenda McCormick of Sikeston; one son, Barney Ervin of Sikeston; one sister, Joyce Sissom; ten grandchildren, Raschell Hodgkiss, D.J. Ervin, Craig Ervin, April Ervin, Brandon Ervin, Heather Ervin, Thomas Ervin, Justin Hardin, Joseph Aycock, and Charlie Aycock Jr.; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Flanigan, and four brothers, William Hopper, Andy Hopper, James Hopper, and Randy Hopper.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
