Donnie Ray Wolford, age 74, passed away November 28, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born February 5, 1947 in Dorena, Missouri, son of the late Hobert Wolford and Gertie Hale Bridges.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked for Noranda Aluminum in Marston, Missouri before retiring.

He was married to Jane Carrol Wolford, she survives of the home in Sikeston, Missouri.

Other survivors include two sons, J.D. (Angie) Swain of Sikeston and Kevin (Christin) Swain of Cullman, Alabama; two daughters, Monica Coffin of Sikeston and Rebecca Jane Laing of Atoka, Tennessee; one brother, James Frazier (Linda) Simpkins of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters, Arvella (Charles) Brown of East Prairie, Missouri and Connie Faye (Jerry) Moore of Festus, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 1, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2:30 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Missouri. The Rev. Joe McCullough will officiate.
