Donnie R. Nance of Sikeston, MO passed away December 31, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

He was born on August 5, 1950 in New Madrid County, MO to the late James and Lois Nance.

He lived in Sikeston for the most part of his life and was employed with Essex Wire (Triangle) for more than 25 years when he retired.

On January 11, 1976 he married his loving wife, Rita F. (Pigg) Nance.

His greatest days were spent with his family making memories. He loved tinkering with lawn mowers with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching Westerns (Gun Smoke) in his downtime.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three children, Donnie R. Nance Jr. of Sikeston, April S. (Larry) Lofton of Nebraska, and James (Crystal) Nance of Sikeston; one brother, Billy Nance of Sikeston; and eight grandchildren, Austin Nance, Remington Nance, Mariana Nance, Victoria Nance, Michael Nance, Makenzie Nance, Larry Lofton, and Bayleigh Lofton.

He was preceded in death by two children, twin boys Billy Gean and Bobby Gene Nance; four brothers, Jim Russell, Bob Russell, Dowsey G. Nance, and Michael E. Nance; and one sister, Virginia 'Susie' Reynolds.

A Celebration of his Life will be held February 3rd at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Grounds at 2:00 p.m. for family and friends.
