Donna Carol Johnson, age 64, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born January 31, 1962, in Advance, Missouri, to the late Robert Hess and Vila Mae Spillman-Hess. On November 23, 1979, she was united in marriage to Richard Wayne Johnson.

Donna worked at Sandy's Toddle Inn as a bartender and cook. She loved cooking for her family and friends and often enjoyed sharing her meals with those she loved. She also enjoyed watching hummingbirds, tending to her flowers, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Wayne Johnson; two children, Amanda Johnson and Richard Johnson; five grandchildren, Bryce Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Brody Johnson, Luke Johnson, and Rayven Holmes; and two siblings, Dearl Hess and Janet Firebaugh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by ten siblings, Garry Hess, Steve Hess, Dennis Hess, Brenda Bright, Barbie Hess, Debbie Dearing, Sandy McCall, Lois Boley, and Bonnie Hess.

A private celebration of Donna's life will be held at a later date.
