Donna Sue Bryant, age 61, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at her home near Anniston, MO.  She was born February 21, 1963, in East Prairie, MO to the late Arnold Belton Lay and Ada Marie Counts Lay.  She had attended New Beginnings Church in East Prairie.  Donna loved decorating and crafts, and she especially loved her grandbabies.

She was married to Jon Scott Bryant, who survives of the home.

Additional survivors include her son, Brandon (Jennifer) Grissom; one stepdaughter, Madeline Bryant; one brother, Arnold Lay ; two sisters, Brenda Jones and Joyce Kimball; and four grandchildren, Kai Grissom, Kinley Grissom, Margaret Baker, and Ivan Johns.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Wesley Gene Grissom, Jr.; and one sister, Kimberly Ann Lay.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 1, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.  Bro. Randy Eskew, pastor of New Beginnings Church will officiate.

Interment will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
