Donald Earl Sturgeon, age 69, of Sikeston, Missouri, died Saturday, August 20, 2022. Born November 18, 1952 , in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Ralph Sturgeon and Mildred McClellan Sturgeon, he was a long time maintenance worker in industry around Sikeston, Missouri.

Donald was a Navy Veteran. He enjoyed working with and volunteering for disabled veteran organizations. He enjoyed being outdoors, and spending time with his pets.

Survivors include his daughter Amanda Ramirez; four grandsons; one granddaughter; one great grandson; one great granddaughter; one brother Ralph Sturgeon of Rhode Island; and one niece Sheila Graham of Sikeston.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ron Sturgeon, Danny Sturgeon, Phillip Sturgeon, Jerry Sturgeon; and one sister Karen Tidwell.

Interment will be at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
