Donald Ray Mosley, Sr. was born on February 17, 1976 to his maternal mother, Gloria Jean Henderson/mother and father, Ruby and Matthew Mosley.
He departed this life peacefully at Missouri Delta Medical Center on September 24, 2021.
Donald was a loving and devoted father to his children and a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 18 years. He demonstrated this love and loyalty to his family and friends. He was loved dearly and never met a stranger.
Donald confessed his life for the Lord at an early age. He was a loyal and faithful servant, attended Sikeston Gospel Assembly until the Lord called him home and his race was done.
Donald attended and graduated from Scott County Central, he graduated in 1994. He was also a loyal and faithful employee at Alan Wire for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Matthew Mosley; maternal mother, Gloria Jean Henderson; son, DeAngelo Mosley; and brother, Jeffery Collins.
Donald leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, LaWanda Mosley of the home in Sikeston, MO; his three children-daughter, Jada Mosley, and son, Donald Mosley Jr. both of the home in Sikeston, MO, and oldest daughter, Nataleigh Mosley of Indianapolis, IN; five sisters, Lillian (Hugh) Collins, Stephanie Mosley, and Tricia Mosley all of Sikeston, MO, Yvonne Mosley and Catherine Mays both of Charleston, MO; four brothers, Tyrone (Jeanette) Mosley of Sikeston, MO, Anthony Mosley of Cape Girardeau, MO, Timothy Mosley of Illinois, and Steven Mays of Poplar Bluff, MO; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and a host of beloved family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 2, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Sikeston Gospel Assembly. Pastor Bobby Mouser will officiate.
Burial will follow at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, MO.
At the request of the family, all in attendance, please practice social distancing and wear face coverings.
