Donald Wayne Holt, age 69, of Sikeston, Missouri passed away July 16, 2023 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was born November 17, 1953 in Bloomfield, Missouri, son of the late William Lester Holt and Hattie Louise Loveless-Holt.

Donald was a 1972 graduate of Bloomfield High School and had been a Foreman for Noranda Aluminum for 40 years before retiring.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, helping other people-he had many good friends he looked out for, and his granddaughter was his world.

On March 21, 1975 at Pop City, Missouri he married Donna Janell Kelley-Holt, she survives of the home in Sikeston.

Other survivors include one son, Chris Holt of Sikeston; three brothers, Glen (Laura) Holt of Bloomfield, Perry (Christina) Holt of California, and Robert Holt of Bloomfield; one sister, Pamela (John) Haws of Dexter; cousins, Ray (Teresa) Loveless of Clines Island, Missouri, Ruth Brown, and Em Schebaum; and one granddaughter, Kristen Holt of Sikeston.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by three brothers, James Holt, Gary Holt, and Bruce Allen Holt.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
